Hendricks Pool Contractors is based on Wynandskraal Street in Erasmusrand, and that’s not just a mailing address — it’s where we actually work from, day to day, on pools across Pretoria East. We started small and stayed hands-on, and that’s still how we approach every job today, whether it’s a ten-minute pump fix or a full renovation.
How We Got Here
Hendricks Pool Contractors was launched in 2020 by Hendricks, who started the business alone — doing every leak detection, pump repair and pool build himself, one job at a time, mostly around Erasmusrand and the immediate surrounding suburbs.
What We Actually
Do
Most of our work falls into two categories. The first is pools already in the ground that need something fixed, cleaned, or kept running — leak detection, pump and filter repairs, resurfacing, pool light and equipment repairs, and ongoing maintenance. The second is new pools and renovations — new marbelite and fibreglass construction, full resurfacing projects, and the equipment upgrades (heat pumps, solar heating, modern variable-speed pumps) that come with modernising an older pool. Both categories make up roughly the same amount of our week, which is part of why we’re comfortable giving an honest opinion on whether a pool needs a small repair or a bigger renovation — we’re not trying to steer every call toward the bigger job.

Why We Stay Local
Erasmusrand and the suburbs immediately around it — Erasmuskloof, Equestria, Faerie Glen, Garsfontein, Lynnwood, Menlo Park, Moreleta Park, Mooikloof, Silver Lakes, Waterkloof and Woodhill — are where the large majority of our work happens, and where our local knowledge actually runs deep: which suburbs have clay soil that moves and causes hairline cracks, which areas get hit hardest by Highveld storms, and which older pools are due for attention just from having worked on so many of them nearby. Now that the team has grown to ten, we do also take on projects further afield across Gauteng from time to time — but Pretoria East is home base, and it’s where we can respond fastest and know a property’s likely issues before we’ve even arrived.
How We Work With You
Call or WhatsApp us, tell us what’s going on, and we’ll give you a realistic idea of what you’re dealing with before booking a site visit where that’s needed. On-site, we explain what we’re actually seeing — not just “it needs fixing” but what’s causing it — and give you a clear quote before starting anything. No pressure to sign on the spot, no vague pricing, and no surprise costs partway through a job. If something changes once we’re into the work — a leak turns out to be in two places instead of one, for example — we tell you before continuing, not after.
